Worried About Being Judged?
Sometimes we have issues, problems or events in our lives we feel cannot be discussed for various reasons, even with an expert confidential therapist.
The therapy I provide is totally non judgment based and is about you moving on with your life.
It is about treating and dealing with those issues behind the scenes, where in public it appears that everything completely normal.
As a long established therapist and treating numerous problems, the importance is separating the behaviour from the person. In other words, the person in front of me is separate from the behaviours or problems they present which in fact is how we approach therapy.
Sometimes you dont have an outlet or there may be implications relating to the problem you have. You can now ask for treatment knowing that sensitive information will be dealt with confidentially and if required, other assistance can be brought in at your agreement.
If you really want to change then you can do anything you want. Sometimes situations you are in look like a never ending mountain to climb, or just too difficult and tangled to even start. In reality, its rarely truly like this and certainly from a therapeutic point of view, most issues have a main trigger point, which, when found can easily "disconnected" and the rest of the surrounding complications can be dealt with in stages. However, I am not here to absolve you of your actions - I am here to help you move on with your life, deal with the past and give you the tools you need to create a really rewarding future, as well as solving problems you may be encountering now.
For a lot of us, it’s all a matter of perspective and depends very much on what our values are now and were, when we were involved in those events
Sometimes, we have guilt attached to events which we shouldn’t hang on to OR were in fact not as bad as we remember them to be.
There are also habits, interests and actions we might have which would be considered "socially unacceptable". Treatment using NLP or Hypnosis can be used and I can also liaise directly with your consultant if under medical supervision also.
The term "socially unacceptable" covers a wide ranging list but there is usually a fear of judgment attached to most of them and fear of public, personal or social condemnation which makes it very difficult to seek any form of help. I deal with individuals and also their representatives.
From the point of view of confidentiality, I have dealt with some that would be considered
"high profile" and this can also be a worry as well as your information being secure.
For therapy of a sensitive nature, not only can I arrange a private consultation which is
anonymous anywhere in the country but can also produce an agreement to protect any information which is discussed. We have a code of ethics for confidentiality under data
protection and our professional conduct but sometimes extra assurance is needed
by the client which is quite understandable.
I haven’t gone into specific details as I don’t believe I need to. Those who can identify
with what is discussed on this page will completely understand the nature of confidential
treatment we provide and the responsibility we have to the clients.
If you require help but have been too worried to ask for it then contact me directly
and have an impartial confidential discussion.
There is no need to deal with this on your own.
